About The Author

 Dr. Shanta S. Sharma, M.Sc. (Chemistry), Ph.D., is currently working as Professor in S.I.E.S. Graduate School of Technology, Nerul, Navi Mumbai. She is an Alumini of the prestigious UDCT, Mumbai. She has over 20 years of teaching experience as faculty of Engineering College, affiliated to the University of Mumbai.     

She is a Life Member of Society for Materials Chemistry and Indian Association of Chemistry Teachers.     

She has published a number of Research papers in both International and National conferences as well in Journals. Her current interests are in the areas of Nanotechnology, Environment and Energy.

 Dr. Arpita Pal, M.Sc. (Organic Chemistry), Ph.D., presently working as an Associate Professor, in A.C. Patil College of Engineering, Kharghar, Navi Mumbai, has over 20 years of teaching experience as faculty of Science and thereafter Engineering College, affiliated to the University of Mumbai.     

She has presented papers in various International and National Conferences. She is a Life Member of Society for Materials Chemistry and Indian Society for Radiation and Photochemical Sciences. Her current research areas are Nanomaterials, Radiation Chemistry and Environment.    

Both the authors were actively involved in conducting the workshop for the teachers of various Engineering colleges, affiliated to the University of Mumbai, on the current syllabus.
