About The Author

 L.G. Burange is Professor of International Economics at the Department of Economics, University of Mumbai. His research interest lies in International Economics, Industrial Economics, Regional Economics and Input-Output Analysis and has published extensively in these areas. He is the recipient of the Pandurangi Prize for the best M. Phil. Dissertation at the Gokhale Institute of Politics and Economics, and Dr. Sabnis Memorial Prize for the best paper in Industrial Economics published in an accredited journal.

 Ajit Karnik is Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar Professor of Political Economy at the Department of Economics, University of Mumbai. He has been Visiting Fellow at prestigious institutions such as Cambridge University, UK and University of California at Berkeley, USA. His research interest lies in Public Economics, Political Economy and Applied Econometrics and has published extensively in these areas.
