We have substantial gratification in presenting the First edition "Principles of Event Management" written for students of UG courses. The subject matter is written in a simple and easily understandable language with sufficient support from factual information. The objective of writing this book is to provide students with a conceptual framework of principles -of event management, functionaries in these markets and their mode of trading.
We consider this book is useful for understanding purposes through students as well as professionals. The book lays down the framework defining introduction to event management, event management procedure, conduct of an event, public relations and corporate event.
This is an attempt to provide the students with thorough understanding of the event management. In writing this book we have benefited immensely from the real information of principles of event management.
This book has mostly concentrated on discussion of the important topics such as introduction to event management, analysis and scope of event, establishing of policies and procedure, developing record keeping systems, event management procedure, conduct of an event, computer aided event management, roles and responsibilities of event managers for different events, public relations, media, media management, public relation strategy and planning, brain storming sessions and corporate event.
