About The Author

Dr. R.K. Bharadwaj -

 Dr.R.K. Bharadwaj is Director, Institute of Management Studies, Ghaziabad. Previously, he has served as Vice President, Business Development(CRM), a Swedish Company, Geoscope Information Systems Ltd.; Vice President, Ericsson and Wipro; Director(PGDBM) and Professor and Head (Production and Operations Management) at Amity Business School of which he is a founder member, North Eastern Regional Institute of Science and Technology and Birla Institute of Science and Technology. He possesses over 20 years of experience in Management Education. He has also worked as a Manager and Group Executive – Reliance Industries Ltd. He is a consultant to various private and public sector organizations.

He is member of Board of Management as well as member of academic council, Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University. He is also a member of Delhi Management Association, AIMA, Gurgaon Management Association. He is coordinating closely with Delhi Government, AICTE, GGSIP University and works on a five-point program related to various issues like improving the academic culture of a institute, improving the work culture, generating revenue for the institute, improving institute visibility and enhanced focus on Institute Industry linkage.

His areas of interests include Quantitative Techniques in Management, Marketing Research, Operations Management, Logistics and Supply Chain Management. Presently is guiding three Ph.D. students and has supervised more then 100 MS/MBA and B.E. level thesis and projects. He has more than 40 research publications in national & international referred journals and has chaired number of National and International Conferences.

He  has offered constancy and organized MDPs in the areas of Project Management, Demand Forecasting, Marketing Research, Technology Forecasting, Logistics and Supply Chain Management among others.


Anuradha Rajkonwar Chetiya is Assistant Professor in the Department of Statistics, Ramjas College, University of Delhi. Previously she has also been associated with the Department of Statistics, Lady Shri Ram College, University of Delhi. She completed her M.Phil from the Department of Statistics, University of Delhi in the area of sample surveys and is currently pursuing her doctorate from the Faculty of Management Studies, University of Delhi. She has over nine years of experience in teaching undergraduate students various subjects like Statistical Methods, Probability Theory, Design of Experiments and Linear Models. She has been associated with postgraduate teaching at the Department of Statistics, University of Delhi. She has presented research papers at several national and international conferences and has to her credit a book in the area of quantitative techniques in management.
