Social networking sites have become an important part of everybody's life, especially the young people and students. The students of management institute need to acquire knowledge, skills and attitude that will not only benefit them but also their future employing organization. The teachers should used modern digital technologies and teaching methods that may be helpful in developing these students.

The present work, "Problem and Prospect of Using Networking Sites by Business School Students", is the Ph.D. research carried out by the first author Dr. Murtaza Mohinddin Junaid Farooque under the guidance of the second author Dr. Manik Kadam at Pune. The authors have been working in this project since 2011 till 2015. This work was finally accepted by University of Pune.

About The Author

Dr. Murtaza Mohiuddin Junaid Farooque is working as Lecturer in Department of MIS, College of Commerce & Business Administration, Dhofar University, Salalah, Oman. He has completed his Ph.D. from Savitribai Phule Pune University, Pune, India. He has completed his MCA and M.Com. from Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar Marathwada University, Aurangabad, India.

He has over fourteen years of Research, Teaching and Industrial experience. He has published papers in reputed journals and participated in several conferences, seminars and workshops. He has also co-edited the Proceedings of National Conference on Data Mining NCDM -2011 and NCDM 2013 published by Excel India Publishers, New Delhi. He likes to conduct training sessions for NGOs, industry professionals, students, college faculty and school teachers.

Dr. Manik Sampat Kadam is a Professor in MBA. He has taught various subjects from Management, Engineering and Environmental Science streams. He has more than 31 years of teaching experience. He is a multidisciplinary faculty as he has completed M.Sc., MBA, M.Phil. and Ph.D. from Pune University now known as Savitribai Phule Pune University. He has published and presented  more than 25 research papers in national and international journals and conferences respectively. He is a recognized Guide in SPPU for the subject of Computer Management. Four students have been conferred Ph.D. Degree under his guidance and three more are going to submit their theses as they have completed with their Pre-Ph.D. Presentations.
