Dr. Krishna Nandan Prasad born at Gaya has graduated from Patna College, Patna University. After completing his Masters in Geography from CSRD, JNU, New Delhi, he qualified for NET of UGC and pursued research for M.Phil. and Ph.D. degree in Linguistic Geography under the guidance of Professor Aijazuddin Ahmad. He started his career as Assistant Professor of Geography in Govt. J.N.S. College, Shujalpur (Madhya Pradesh) in 1993.
At present, he is working as an Assistant Professor of Geography at Govt. Digvijay PG Autonomous College, Rajnandgaon, Chhattisgarh (India). He is a registered guide of Pt. Ravi Shankar Shukla University, Raipur. He has got published more than dozen research papers in various geographical journals of national repute and edited books. He has completed 5 Minor Research Projects of UGC, CRO, Bhopal; two of them are interdisciplinary in nature (one with Dept. of History and another with Dept. of Zoology). He has two books in his credit – Geography of Sociolinguistics and Regional Development in the Era of Globalization, Liberalization and Privatization (ed.) published by Adhyayan Publishers and Distributors, New Delhi, 2013.
Dr. Sanjay Thiske received his Masters in Zoology degree with specialization in Fisheries Science from Government PG College, Ambikapur. He got Doctor of Philosophy from Pt. Ravishankar University, Raipur, Chhattisgarh under the guidance of late Dr. B.N. Sharma and Dr. R.K. Aggrwal in the field of Limnology. He has been teaching Zoology as Assistant Professor at both UG and PG levels in Madhya Pradesh and Chhattisgarh since September 1993. At present, he is posted at Govt. Digvijay PG Autonomous College, Rajnandgaon. Publication of 6 research papers in various national and international journals, completion of two MRPs (one each from UGC, CRO Bhopal and Autonomous Cell of Govt. Digvijay PG College Rajnandgaon), presentation of more than two dozen papers in the international, national and state level seminars, and contribution of chapters in two books establish him as an active researcher.
