About The Author

Dr. Arati Deepak Kale, an approved faculty for MMS by University of Mumbai and is currently teaching in Lala Lajpatrai Institute of Management, Mumbai for over 11 years. She holds M.Com., MHRDM and Ph.D. degrees. Prior to teaching, she has had 15 years rich experience in the Corporate as the AGM-HR. During her stint in the corporate, she also has handled International Assignments. As she developed interest in teaching, she moved into academics to explore and learn the deeper aspects of being an academician. She has Subject Expertise in Human Resources Management, Training and Development, High Performance Leadership, Competency and Performance Management, Specialization Project, Organisational Behaviour, Services Management and Compensation and Benefits. She possesses experience and skills to handle various research projects relating to the various streams of Management. She is a polyglot and proficient in English, Hindi, Marathi, Kannada, Tulu, Gujarati, Malayalam and Konkani. In addition to teaching, she is involved in coordinating seminars, Management Development Programmes / Workshops and cultural fest in the institute. She has contributed articles in the management publications and journals, etc. She has participated / presented papers in various National and International seminars / conferences and workshops. She has twelve research papers to her credit which have been published too. She is heading the Unnath Bharat Abhiyan (UBA) Cell and Entrepreneurship Development Cell. She has conducted various Community Services camps such as Blood Donation Camp, Eye Checkup Camp, Thalassemia Checkup Camp, Stem Cell Registration, Dental Checkup, Toy Donation, Yoga and Meditation Camp. Various programs for the youth betterment have been organized by her. She is also actively involved in students counselling and grievances.

Anshita Chelawat, a Certified UGC NET (National Eligibility Test) and SET (Maharashtra), is associated with the education industry from last 8 years. Her inclination towards the HR field has motivated her to convert her knowledge into a practical write-up. Her 2 years of experience as a content writer (for HR subjects) has contributed a lot towards the publication of this book. She even has co-authored a book on Negotiation and Conflict recently. She is working as an Assistant Professor in a reputed institute in Thane, Mumbai. She is actively involved in various academic and extra-curricular activities. Additionally, she is a voracious reader and a passionate researcher keen to contribute towards research through publication and presentation in national and international conferences and seminars.

Trupti Shelke is working from last 11 years in management educational industry and holds HOD position and handles four self-financing courses managing strength of 1000-plus students. She is skilled in Higher Education Research, Coaching, Public Speaking and Career Management. She has graduated in Commerce (B.Com.) and Education (B.Ed.) and has done her post graduation in M.Com. and MHRDM as well as holds Post Graduate Diploma in Labour and Administration Law. She is pursuing Ph.D. in Management (HR). Additional feather in her cap is various certification courses including Personality Development and Basic Level Counseling. She has written 13 research papers at national and international conferences and has won Best Researcher Award for innovative teaching methods. She has successfully published syllabus-oriented management books at Bachelor level.
