The existing discourse on human right is dynamic and ever evolving. In this book, the predominant idea is to put forth the sociological standpoint of human rights which draws ideas from the shared vulnerability by the marginalized section of the society. The themes and issues covered in individual chapters revolves around mapping different context, aspects and broad parameters of human rights and its engagement with social and non-social domain in the tribal society. About The Author

Dr. Deba Ranjan Hota, M.A., M.Phil., P.G. Diploma in Human Rights Law (NLSIU, Bangalore), Ph.D. (Sociology) from The Maharaja Sayajirao University of Baroda, Vadodara. He is an Academic and Researcher having more than one decade of experience in teaching and research. Presently, he is working in IMPRESS Project sponsored by ICSSR at Institute of Law, NIRMA University, Ahmedabad. He is actively involved and contributed as a resource person for various research projects, symposium seminars, workshops and conferences at various universities and institutions. He is also an active member of various committees and boards in different organizations. He is also serving member of ethics committee for research at Kadi University. He has worked as a Visiting Faculty and Examiner at Central University of Gujarat. He has authored one book titled Informal Workers in the Interstices of Formal Sector: Dynamics and Dilemmas. He has also published several articles in books and reputed journals in the field of Labour Studies, Tribal Studies and Human Rights.
