Mahindra Deshpande is a post graduate in Biochemistry and has qualified SET for lecturership in the subject. He has a vast teaching experience and has a keen interest in food and dietary management. He started experimenting in food preparations around his age 14 and had initiated a program called PAPCoDS [Program for Awareness, Prevention and Control of Diabetes in Society] in the years 2001-2004. He works as a visiting faculty and teaches students of UG and PG in Biochemistry, Medicine, Homeopathy, Physiotherapy. He is also the Director of an institute that runs a facilitation center for Post Graduate Entrance Examinations in Life Sciences.
Late Dr. N.S. Kulkarni received his Master’s degree from Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar Marathwada University, Aurangabad in 1994 and was awarded Ph.D. degree in Microbiology from Shivaji University, Kolhapur. Since 1994 until 2020, he worked as an Assistant Professor in Microbiology and at undergraduate and postgraduate level and guided research scholars successfully to their Ph.D. He was Head, Department of Microbiology at Rajasthan Aryans College, Washim. He guided many research projects publications, having attended both conferences of National and International repute, including one of SAARC countries. In addition to this, he also had authored books entitled General Enzymology and Food and Nutrition. He was also a Member of the Board of Studies in Biochemistry including Microbiology in Sant Gadge Baba Amravati University, Amravati. This ambitious book on Virology remains his last publication, which he and his co-authors have compiled, as he now to longer with us to see it published. However, he remains immortal as an example in his work, character and the down-to-earth human nature which he had lived and inspired. He was and will be, always equally and unconditionally, loved by his students, staff, administrators, friends and family.
