About The Author

Dr. Sarat Chandra Patra is a Selection Grade Lecturer in Economics in Mumbai with a prolonged teaching experience in the subjects of Economics, Mathematical Economics and Econometrics taught to undergraduate and post-graduate students since last 17 years. He has written many books for Distance Education students of SNDT Women’s University in multi-disciplinary subjects as such "Business Economics", "Mathematics and Statistics" for F.Y.B.Com. and "Marketing" for S.Y.B.Com. He is a member of Senate of SNDT Women`s University. He has organized many Seminars and Workshops for Post-graduate students and undergraduate teachers on various topics including "Epistemology of Research in Social Sciences". He has presented many research papers on topics concerning Entrepreneurship, Gandhian Economic Philosophy, International trade and Microeconomics in seminars and workshops organized at the national and international level For a number of times he has addressed "Economic Applications of Quantitative Techniques" to the teacher participants in UGC and ICSSR sponsored National level Seminars.
