About The Author

Dr. Usha Rao is double M.A. [Phil., Applied Psy] and her Ph.D., is an Audio-Visual Education. She has attended many National and International Conferences, seminars and presented the papers at Delhi, Agra, Hariyana, Mathura, Pune, Haridwar, Nashik Hyderabad, Kolhapur, Jodhpur, Nagpur, Jabalpur, Varananani, Vadodara, etc. and at U.K., U.S.A., Iran, China, Japan, Muscat, Sweden, Bangkok, Australia, Singapore, etc. on various topics of education.

Dr. Usha Rao is the author of books entitled Action Research, Conducting Educational Research - Educational Technology, Exceptional Children, Education for Peace, Value Education, Drama in Education, Hypnosis in Education, Inclusive Education, Advanced Educational Statistics, Advanced Educational Psychology, Creativity in Education, etc. Most of these books are used as textbooks and reference books for B.Ed. and M.A. (in education).

She is a recipient of National Award 4 times - 1994, 1996, 1997 and 1998. She got Giants International Award for her work in field of Education, Rotary Award while studying B.Ed. and Best Teacher Award from G.E. Society.

Dr. Usha Rao has specialised in Hypnosis. Till now, more than 25 students have got Ph.D. under her guidance.

To her credit, 8 poetry books in Marathi language and 3 in English.
