About The Author

Dr. V. R. Katkhede, M.A. Sociology and Ph.D. in Human Relations are at present and advisor-Corporate HR to Uttam Galva Steels Ltd., Mumbai. He has worked with WHO/UNICEF, on their project Multi-skilling of Health workers in Maharashtra, India and thereafter, got associated with human resources positions in different organizations like Textiles, Engineering, Casting, Pharmaceutical, Polyesters and Chemicals. He has also authored about thirty articles on HR in various Indian Professional Journals, Newspapers and delivered lectures on human resource development. He is specialized in Zero Defects implementation, organizational development and quality systems management. He is a native of Nagpur settled down in Pune.
