About The Book

While preparing this book we have taken particular pains to ensure that the coverage of the topics is comprehensively and exhaustive and the approach is `analytical` rather than merely `descriptive`. The style adopted is direct and presentation simple so that the students do not have any problem in understanding the arguments. Main points/issues are highlighted in boxes in different chapters. Each chapter is followed by a summary consisting of keys points contained in the chapter and a set of questions for the practice of students.

The present book Development Issues of Indian Economy has been prepared strictly according to the New Syllabus for T.Y. B.Com. being introduced from the academic session 2002-03.
