About The Author

Professor and Head of the Department of Commerce,

Burhani College of Commerce and Arts Mumbai.

Prof. N.S. Pradhan taught for some time at R.A.Podar College of Commerce and Economics and later served first as Professor of Modern Economics and Administration at the Sydenham College of Commerce and Economics. He was a post-graduate teacher recognised for International Banking; Foreign Exchanges, Corporation Finance; and Organised Markets. He also guided research before he was promoted as Inspector of Commercial Schools for the entire Bombay and then of the State of Maharashtra. He has vast experience of business and banking. His publication include :

1. Elements of Salesmanship and Publicity.
2. Modern Economy and Development in two volumes and
3. Commercial English, Commercial Correspondence and Market Reports.

At 80, he edits books for Himalaya Publishing House and also holds a Certificate of Institute of Company Secretaries of India.
