About The Author

 Dr. S.S. Gadkari is a retired Joint Secratary to the Government of Maharashtra who has also worked as Chief Administrative Officer, CIDCO, Deputy Metropolitan Commissioner of the Bombay Metropolitan Region Development Authority (BMRDA) and as a Work-Study Officer in the State Government. After retirement, he worked as the Executive Joint Secretary of the Maharashtra Branch of the Indian Institute of Public Administration, New Delhi. He had been selected for the Indian Foreign Service but did not join it.     

He has so far written seven books listed elsewhere and about forty articles and has won prizes in three national level essay competitions held by the I.I.P.A. New Delhi and the Times Research Foundation, Mumbai.
