About The Book

This book is primarily aimed as a textbook of quantitative techniques for management students and has been written specially keeping the `Quantitative Analysis` course of the Gujarat Technical University (GTU) as a guideline. The book focuses on management application of statistical tools. It contains over 300 examples and an attempt has been made to present statistical concepts in a manner that can be easily comprehended. Caselets have been provided at the end of almost all chapters to facilitate classroom discussions. In addition, step-by-step EXCEL guides have been incorporated wherever relevant and necessary. About The Author

Anuradha Rajkonwar Chetiya is Assistant Professor in the Department of Statistics, Ramjas College, University of Delhi. Previously she has also been associated with the Department of Statistics, Lady Shri Ram College, University of Delhi. She completed her M.Phil from the Department of Statistics, University of Delhi in the area of sample surveys and is currently pursuing her doctorate from the Faculty of Management Studies, University of Delhi. She has over nine years of experience in teaching undergraduate students various subjects like Statistical Methods, Probability Theory, Design of Experiments and Linear Models. She has been associated with postgraduate teaching at the Department of Statistics, University of Delhi. She has presented research papers at several national and international conferences and has to her credit a book in the area of quantitative techniques in management.
