About The Author

 Dr. Alok B. Shah is master in commerce from the M.S. University of Baroda, Vadodara. He has completed two professional qualifications, Cost Accountant (ICWA) and Chartered Accountant. He also did his Ph. D. in the Accounting & Financial Management from the M.S. University of Baroda, Vadodara. Topic of his Ph. D. thesis is “Problem of working Capital Management of Selected Pharmaceutical Companies of Maharashtra State”.Starting his career as a Teaching Assistant in the M.S. University of Baroda, he moved to a position of Senior Lecturer. As a Lecturer he has taught to the students at the under graduate and post graduate level at the Faculty of Commerce, M. S. University of Baroda, He is also a practicing Chartered Accountant at Baroda.He has been appointed as a public nominee by the Security Exchange Board of India at Vadodara Stock Exchange (VSE) in the Arbitration and Default committee for six years. He has been visiting faculty at Bhavans, Faculty of Law, Indira Gandhi National Open University and Railway Staff College. He is also a member of executive committee at Central Gujarat Chamber of Commerce.
