About The Author

Dr. Abhijit Das Obtained M.Sc. degree in Economics from Calcutta University. He did M.Phil. and Ph.D. on Economics from Jadavpur University. Presently, he is working in Kandi Raj College, Kandi, Murshidabad (West Bengal) as Assistant Professor of Economics. He writes regularly on water related issues for different newspapers and magazines. He attended several doctoral conferences in Economics.

Dr. Kalyan Basu obtained M.Sc. degree in Economics from Calcutta University and after that completed his Ph.D. from the same University. He did his B.Ed. from Bangalore University. He is working as the Head of the Department of Economics in Delhi Public School, Megacity, Kolkata (West Bengal). He attended several doctoral conferences in Economics. His regular works are published in different journals and periodicals on Globalisation and Labour Economics.
