To keep up with the demands of today’s workplace, every employee should have an opportunity to develop professionally or grow in their jobs and it is of course the responsibility of organization’s management. One more crucial part is Organization Development, as OD is an innovative term which means a conceptual, organization-wide effort to increase an organization’s effectiveness and viability. Human Resource Accounting is the measurement of the cost and value of people to the organization. The organization which recognizes people as valuable human resources it really get success by proper utilization of these resources. When we talk about Business Process Reengineering (BPR), we should not forget the HR Reengineering as it revitalizes Human Resources in order to increase efficiency and profitability to maximize organizational and individual performance which obviously leads to Human Resource Development.

About The Author

Dr. Rajashree Shinde, Ph.D., M.P.M., M.Com., M.Ed., P.G.D.P.M. and FDP in Management from Indian Institute of Management, Ahmedabad and Leadership Skills Training and Development (LSTD) from ISB, Hyderabad. Dr. Shinde has 29 years of academic experience in Teaching, Research and Extension in the Management stream and her specialization is Human Resource Management. She is a Recognised Ph.D. Guide at S.P. Pune University, Tilak Maharashtra Vidyapeeth Pune and D.Y. Patil University, Pune. Dr. Shinde is a resource person for several Quality Improvement Programmes. She is associated with several Indian Universities in various capacities.

Dr. Abhilasha Ambatipudi is working as Assistant Professor in Sinhgad Institute of Management, Pune. She has several publications to her credit. She has undergone many Faculty Development Programmes organized by prestigious Management Institutions and universities. Her research area of interest is Organization Communication and Human Resource Management.

Dr. A. Ramakumar, Professor, Management faculty with twenty-five years of industry and academic experience, presently working for Sinhgad Institute of Management, affiliated to University of Pune. He has several publications to his credit.
