Start with designing a strategy and implement it for at least four to six weeks. Analyse the results and then try to make few changes. Have patience. Social Media results is just like using hand pump. Initially you have to apply a lot of efforts and high pressure to get water by pumping it. After some efforts few drops of water start coming and then you will have a stream. Once, the water starts gushing out you need to apply just a bit of pressure to pump and keep it consistent. The moment you stop you have to put in the same energy again. Hence be consistent and focus on fresh content. About The Author

Dr. Apoorva Palkar - She has about twenty-two years of work experience and has spent 20 years in higher education. Currently, the Chief Operating Officer (Education) at Sakal Media Group and headling Sakal International Learning Centre that is working on creating skilled Human Capital in various developmental sectors. She holds a Bachelors in Mathematics, is an Alumnus of IIM Ahmedabad and Ph.D. (Business Management). She was the Director of Sinhgad Institute of Management and Computer Applications for about 9 years. She is former President - AIMS, Chairperson of a National level test "AIMA", President, Consortium of Management Education (COME), served as Member Senate-University of Pune. She has worked on Board of Studies, Pune University for three consecutive terms. She has served as executive member to international accreditation body ACBSP (Accreditation Council for Business Schools Progams) and AACSB (which has 716 Bschools in 48 countries), AMDISA (Association of BSchools from SAARC Countries), AICTE and AIMA. Dr. Palkar has more than 25 research publications to her credit. Her teaching areas are Consumer Behavior, Integrated Marketing Communications, Strategic Marketing, Digital Marketing and International Business. She has spearheaded work with UN Ecosoc Council that led to the first Procurement program being conducted in India. She was part of the International Federation of Agriculture Development (IFAD), Rome for economic development of the state of Meghalaya. She has worked on policy matters on education and has led the movement at state level on autonomy for higher education. She has also worked as Competent Authority for state level and national level tests.
