About The Author

Vachaspati Mishra - Vachaspati obtained a B.Sc. (Hons) degree from B.H.U., Varanasi and Mining Engineering from Indian School of Mines, Dhanbad. He served in the Army, Corps of Engineers with assignments like Chief of Logistics at Indian Scientific Stations in Antarctica, Indian Peace Keeping Force in Sri Lanka and indigenization projects for defence equipment with the Research and Development Organisations, as training officer at Special Mobile Force, Mauritius and Indian Military Academy, Dehradun. He also obtained MBA and Ph.D., besides Post Graduate Certifications in Defence Technology, Foreign Trade and Labour Laws. As an academic, he has taught Business Statistics, Quantitative Techniques, Research Methodology, Operations Management, International Business and Strategic Management in various institutes and is currently associated with Maharashtra Institute Technology, Pune as Head of Pune Secretariat for Asia Pacific Robotic Contests (Robocons) organized under Asia Pacific Broadcasting Union and Doordarshan (Prasar Bharati), the Indian Broadcasting organizations. He has been Vice Chairman of Pune Chapter of Institute of Management Consultants and holds an international title of Certified Management consultant TM. Vachaspati loves languages, having certifications in Sanskrit and Russian. Management students like his sessions on Yoga and Indian ethos. He lives with his wife Damayanti in Pune and is a desirable friend on social media.
