Dr. V. Neelamegam obtained his M.A. and M.Phil. Degrees in Economics from the University of Madras, M.B.A. from Madurai Kamaraj University and Ph.D. from Bharathiyar University, Tamil Nadu. This book clearly shed light on him as a Professor in School of Commerce and Business Administration, Faculty of Science and Humanities, SRM University, Tamil Nadu.

He has qualified State Lectureship Eligibility Test [SLET] in Economics, Government of Tamil Nadu and Accredited Management Teacher [AMT] by the Centre for Management Services, AIMA, New Delhi. His experiences as a Professional Member in All India Management Association, New Delhi; as an Advisory Committee Member in Competition Success Review Journal, New Delhi; Editor in Multidisciplinary Global Journal of Academic Research and Observer for Management Aptitude Test (MAT) conducted by All India Management Association, New Delhi enable him to be a prolific author. He was also involved in the research assignments for the agencies like United Nations Development Programme (UNDP), World Bank, Indiana University (U.S.A.), Development and Research Services (DRS), Wilber Smith Associates, Centre for Study of Developing Societies (CSDS), Common Wealth Human Rights Initiative and Government of India.
