Dr. J.D. Sahasrabuddhe, who retired as Head of the Department from the St. Francis De` Sales College, Nagpur is a very senior teacher with about 38 years of teaching experience in undergraduate classes and 2 years in Post Graduate Dept. Of Zoology in Nagpur University. He has published research papers in National Research Journals and attended International Bat Research Conference for presentation of paper. Apart from being a member of Board of Studies in Zoology he has been associated with various workshops and seminars in the University. He has to his credit about 16 books for H.S.S.C and books for competitive examinations like AIPMT, State PMT & NEET etc. He has also a book for degree college on embryology.
He is also associated with educational societies like Liberal Education Society and Ramkrishna Sanskrati Peeth as Governing body member.
Dr. Suhas P. Gawali did his M.Sc and the Doctorate in Botany from the Nagpur University, Nagpur (Maharashtra). After an illustrious career as Degree College teacher for 37 years retired as Head of Dept. of Botany, St. Francis De` Sales College, Nagpur.
Has vast teaching experience at Degree level (1965 - 2010) as well as at the plus 2 level (1975 - 2010). Has been coaching students in Botany for the Medical Entrance Examinations at the All India Level as well as at the State Level since 1978. Has authored for HPH one of the most sought-after series of Biology Text Books at the Maharashtra State plus 2 level since 1983. Also authored series of several Biology books for Medical Entrance Examinations at the State level as well as the All India Level since 1995.
Dr. Mrs. P. J. Sahasrabuddhe is very senior experienced teacher in Zoology with about 39 years of teaching experience to undergraduate classes. She was awarded Research Fellowship and king Edward Memorial Scholarship for Post Graduation. She retired as Head of the Department from St. Francis De` Sales College Nagpur. She has published many research papers and presented paper in International Bat Conference at Madurai. She has published four books and has written number of articles for popularising science. She is active member of Indian Women Scientists Association, Bal Vidnyan Parishad and other social organizations.She was awarded "Outstanding Teachers Award" by Nagpur University on 30th December 2002.
