About The Author

Prof. G.V. Anjaneyulu passed B.E. in first class honors from Andhra University with Specialization in Tele communication Engineering from Andhra University and stood first in university in 1963. He has done M.Tech. in Applied Electronics with Computers and Industrial Electronics from IIT, Bombay. He worked in Philips India Limited, for one year and later he joined Osmania University as a lecturer in 1966. He left Osmania University in 1972 and joined Electronics Corporation of India Limited where he worked in various capacities till 1986. During his stay in ECIL, he held the portfolios of Computer hardware training in-charge, manager for testing and manager for engineering of one of the groups, in addition to research and development activities.

As a team leader in R&D, he has developed digital seismic systems, useful for exploration of petroleum and gas and successfully tested prototype in paddy fields of Amalapuram area. This is an instrument that has to work in all terrains with power drawn from batteries to collect and record seismic data on magnetic tapes. A team of ten engineers and technicians assisted him. The cost of one piece of this equipment is around Rs. 50 lakhs in today`s market. After leaving ECIL at the level of senior manager, he worked as a faculty member in Al fateh University Tripoli, Libya till 1994. He joined Chaitnaya & Bharathi Institute of Technology in December 1994 as Head of Computer Science and Engineering Department and worked till July 2010. He joined Nalla Malla Reddy Engineering College after leaving CBIT and is presently working as Head, MCA department and Head, CSE department. The author is elected as National Council Member of Institute of Electronics and Telecommunication Engineering (IETE), New Delhi for the period 2008-11.

He was deputed to study Universities in USA in the year 1998, as a member of expert delegation, to study educational pattern there and recommend suitable changes to the educational pattern in the State of Andhra Pradesh. CSE Department of CBIT has obtained A Grade from NBA of AICTE under his supervision with a comment of "good leadership". He has published more than ten research papers in national and international journals.
