Emerging prominent online issues like privacy, domain name disputes, e-contracts, e-forms, electronic records, digital and electronic signatures, etc. have been discussed in detail. The book discusses regulatory framework in India and presents the established legal framework. It covers the legal provisions in India regarding Certifying Authorities, Controller of Certifying Authorities, Cyber Appellate Tribunal, online offences and their punishments, etc.

The entire book is divided into four chapters. To make the reading an intellectually stimulating experience, a summary of the each chapter has been presented at the end of the chapter. The reader can also test their understanding of the chapters by solving practice questions. The endeavor, while writing the book, has been to keep it simple, lucid and comprehensive. The book contains several examples, cases and prominent issues of cyber crimes and laws. It exclusively covers the newly adopted Choice Based Credit System syllabi of 3rd Semester (B.Com.) and 4th Semester (B.Com. (Honors)) courses of Cyber Crimes and Laws of University of Delhi. About The Author

Dr. U.S. Pandey has done M.Sc. and Ph.D. He is presently working as OSD Campus of Open Learning, University of Delhi. He is Head, Computer Lab, Department of Commerce, School of Open Learning. He has contributed more than 25 years in imparting education to various sections of the society. He has also presented more than 60 research papers in National and International Repute. Dr. Verinder Kumar has done MCA, M.Phil. (Computer Science) and Ph.D. (Computer Science). He is presently working as an Assistant Professor at IGIPESS, University of Delhi, Delhi. Dr. Harman Preet Singh has done his MBA and Ph.D. from FMS, University of Delhi. He is presently working as an Assistant Professor at University of Hail, Saudi Arabia. He is recipient of prestigious Fulbright, Erasmus and UKIERI scholarships. He possesses more than a decade of teaching and research experience in Information Technology (IT) Management. In his illustrious career, he has taught in USA, UK, Poland, Ethiopia and India (PGDAV College, University of Delhi).
