About The Author

Dr. G. Prabakaran was born on 2.6.1969 at Kadamadai, Dharmapuri District, Tamil Nadu. Though he is coming from agricultural background, he educated himself in B.Sc., and M.Sc. Botany and Ph. D. in Cytogenetics.   

He has handled B.Sc., and M.Sc., Theoretical and Practical Classes for Soil and Agricultural Microbiology, Biotechnology, Molecular Biology, Microbial Genetics. Immenology and General Microbiology.   

He has Worked as Lecturer and H.O.D. Microbiology, Pee Gee College of Arts and Science, Dharmapuri between June 1996 to September 1999.   

Currently working as Lecturer and H.O.D. Microbiology, P.G.P. College, Namakkal.   

He has relevant experience in Soil and Agricultural Microbiology, since he is a botanist. His interesting area is Soil and Agricultural Microbiology. He is teaching the same subject for the past six years and also Guiding Students in the field of medicinal plants / soil bacteria.
