About The Author

Mr. Siddhartha Banik, is a Fellow Member of the Institute of Company Secretaries of India (FCS), a Law Graduate (LL.B.), and B.Com. (Hons), having significant exposures with large corporate governance, dispute resolution, planning, reporting, disclosure obligations, advisory matter to the Board of Directors under applicable Laws/statutes, especially under The Companies Act, 2013.

He has significant experiences of nearly two decades with the Secretarial Departments of various National and Multinational Organizations, Start-up enterprises, and handled critical areas of Company Law, Dispute Resolution, Listing Agreement, SEBI Rules, NCLT Matters, etc. and taxation matters. He has also detail exposures of dealing with the insolvency and bankruptcy code 2016.

Mr. Siddartha Banik has extensively worked and independently handled the activities / areas of Companies Act (both 1956 and 2013), Listing Agreement, Foreign Listing, Due Diligence, Foreign Currency Convertible Bond Issues, GDRs, IPO, wide exposures of dealing with ROC (Chandigarth, Delhi and Haryana, Shillong) / CLB (Independent Handling), Legal Drafting, Court Proceedings, etc.

He had also worked as an Examiner for the subject of Due Diligence, Corporate Compliances Management and Secretarial Audit with reputed professional Institute.
