About The Author

Prof. Sandeep Narayan Naik is a Masters in Hotel Management from Annamalai University and has done his Diploma in Hotel Management & Catering Technology (MSBTE) and Diploma in Materials Management. He has 11 years of industrial experience working in India in Hotel Holiday Inn and abroad with Carnival Cruise Lines, USA and M&R Hospitality Ventures Inc, Detroit, USA. He has visited more than 15 countries. Presently, he is working as an approved faculty since 11 years with Dr. D.Y. Patil IHMCT, Pune. He has been involved in syllabus setting for Savitribai Phule University of Pune for BHMCT and BBAHFM course.

Prof. Girish Pandurang Deore, Assistant Professor at Dr. D. Y. Patil Institute of Hotel Management & Catering Technology, Pune, has around 12 years of experience in Industry and Academics. After completing his Diploma in Hotel Management & Catering Technology, he worked with Taj Group as a Chef simultaneously graduating B.Sc. in Hotel & Tourism Management.

He pursued his Masters in Hotel Management & Catering Technology from MSIHMCT, Pune. He was a Proprietor of a restaurant in Baner named La Jawaab, serving North Indian Food. He is the IQAC Coordinator at the institute liaising the quality-related activities of the institution. He has being involved in syllabus setting for Savitribai Phule University of Pune for BHMCT and BBAHFM course.
