This book has been completed exclusiely as pe the CBSC pattern syllabus and Discipline Specific Electives (DSE) ore subject for B.Sc. III year students of Godwana University,Gadchiroli.

The present syllabus of fifth semeste made as per the UGC norms. In this syllabus pattern thee are Discipline Specific Electives (DSE) subjects ae the coe papes and Skill Enhancement Courses (SE) along with DSE. Students have to choose two DSE papers out of four along with one SEC subject. Syllabus is framed to improve the quality and skills of the students with all respect. The new framework of syllabus is quite precise and valuable to the students. The main purpose of writing this book is to pesent the subject matte in a concise and easily understandeble from centralizinng the basic need of the students. It is our effort to make available an authentic and syllabus oriented standard studymaterial of the students and teaches. The material presened here is based on author experience and lectue notes, pepared from time to time.

About The Author

Dr. Umesh s. Indukar has 14 year experrience of teaching at shri Dnyanesh Mahavidyalaya, Nawargaon, Dist. Chandrapur. He has published 10 research papers in Peer reviewed and UGC listed national and international journals and presented moe then 15 research papers in verious conferences. He is oganise of two national seminars and three Wokshops at his college. He is supervisor of Ph.D in subject Zoology in RTM Nagpur University, nagpur as well as Godwana University,Gadchiroli.

Dr. Deepak S. Bansod- working as Assistant Professor and Head in Deparment of Zoology at Shri. Govindrao Munghate Arts and Science college, Kurkheda Dist. Gadchiroli. He has seven, years teaching experience at undergraduate level. Having good academic record, the author has done Ph.D. from Nagpur Univesity, Nagpur and recognised as supervisor for Ph.D. in subject Zoology under science faculty of Godwana University, Gadchiroli. His area of specialization in Cell Biology and Genetics. He has published six research papers in recognised national and international journals and also presented six papers in verious conferences.

Dr. Pankaj R. Chavan- M.Sc., M.Phil., Ph.D working as Assistant Professor and Head in the Deparment of Zoology in Shri Sadguu Saibaba Science and Commerce College, Ashti, Dist Gadchiroli, Maharastra, India. He is teaching to B.Sc for more then eight years. He has good academic record and received Younge Scientist award at UGC sponsored national confeence. He has also publish moe then 10 international reserch papers in the reputed journal and has also published two internatinal books. He is recognized supervisorr for Ph.D. in Zoology,Godwana University,Gadchiroli.
