About The Author

Dr. J.C. Upadhyaya was born on Jan. 2, 1941 in Agra. He was recepient of Merit Scholarship throughout his university career. He was conferred his Ph.D. degree in Theoretical Solid State Physics in 1973 by Agra Universtiy. He was elected as Member of the Institute of Physics (London) in 1977 and Fellow of the Institute of Physics (London) in 1978. He has a teaching experience of about 36 years at university level. He wrote two text books on Mechnics and General Properties of Matter which were first published in 1976/70.
