Mrs. N. Padmalata is a Assistant Professor in the Department of Commerce, Bharatiya Vidya Bhavans Vivekananda College, Sainikpuri, Secunderabad. She did her Masters Degree in Commerce from St. Anns College for Women with distinction. She has more than two decades of teaching experience especially in Income Tax, Taxation, Tax Law & Practice, Auditing, Financial Accounting & Financial Management.

She has co-authored 3 text books in the areas of Auditing, Taxation and Financial Accounting. She is also a course team member for review of Auditing syllabus for Dr. B. R. Ambedkar Open University.

She has also published 7 papers in journals of National and International repute. She was one among 54 teachers shortlisted all over India for the Teaching Innovation Award 2016 by Ministry of Human Resource Development.
