Dr. Rajinder S. Aurora is presently Professor in Finance at ICFAI Business School, Mumbai Campus. Dr. Aurora is a Ph.D. and M.Com. from the prestigious Mumbai University. He has also passed his D.H.E and UGC-NET. He has to his credit M.F.M. Degree from the prestigious Narsee Monjee Institute of Management Studies, affiliated to Mumbai University.

He has been associated with TIMSR, GNIMS and DSIMS as Head of the Institute and has also worked as Corporate Trainer for 8 years. He has successfully done the Induction Program and GMCS for the students of The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India that were duly appreciated by the participants.

He has trained employees of DHL Lemuir, GTL, Hero Honda, ICAI and other PSU employees at the Regional Training Institute, Mumbai.

He has been awarded the Order of Merit by the Indian Council of Management Executives and the Shiksha Bharti Puraskar by Young Achievers Foundation for Excellence in Management Education.

He has been a passionate and versatile writer in Management with books such as Financial Management, Management Control System, and Mergers and Acquisitions to his credit before the present book.

Dr. Aurora has guided 15 students for their Ph.D. degree. He has also been Ph.D. Research Evaluator for many Universities in India. He is on the Editorial Committee of many journals. In addition to these, his research endeavors include publication of around 58 research papers in various national and international journals that are listed journals under UGC CARE - I and scorpus and has presented around 18 papers in various national and international conferences and have been awarded the Best Research Paper Award.

In his long career spanning over 38 years, he has taught the following subjects: Financial Accounting, Cost and Management Control, Corporate Finance, Financial Management, Mergers and Acquisitions, Management Control System, Investment Banking, Management and HRD.

He has been an approved PG Teacher in addition to being a Paper Setter and Examiner for Mumbai Universitys B.Com., M.Com., MMS, MFM, MHRDM, MIM and MMM courses, in addition, to the AICTE approved PGPM program. He is a Life Member of BMA, ISTD and ICME.
