The book Chemical Foundation of Biochemistry-I is a first edition of text book designed to impart the course material for the I semester according to new NEP syllabus for four-year undergraduate B.Sc. (Hons.) in Biochemistry.

The syllabus prescribed by Bangalore City University has been extensively adopted and can serve the academic needs of the teachers and students of all colleges / universities. This book aims multi-faceted development of a student that imparts the chemical foundations of biochemistry that intended to provide a broad framework enabling students to acquire a skill set that helps them understand and appreciate the field of biochemistry.
