About The Author

Amit Johri had a brilliant academic career with qualifications in Business Administration, Commerce incl. Business Administration, Computer Management, Law and Educational Management. He is a Senior Life Member of the CSI, Member of the IEEE, USA, Life Member of the IIPA and Member of BMA. A Business Administration/Systems Professional by Education, he ventured into Computer System and Software Education, Training and Consulting in 1985, as a career, starting his company CSC Knowledge Systems. He has authored several books on Computing/Systems/Information Technology/Management/Business Administration. He also writes for technical journals, news magazines and newspapers. He is a Visiting Professor, Mentor, Project Guide, Examiner for UG/Graduate programs at the FT&E/FMS/Department of Applied Mathematics/ Polytechnic, The Maharaja Sayajirao University of Baroda. He is the Visiting Professor at several Universities and B-Schools. His association is also with the National Skill Trainers Institute, Government of India as a Faculty Member, Examiner and is also in the Institute Management Committee. He worked with the Gujarat Technological University (GTU) as an Officer on Special Duty (OSD) – General Administration/Software Development/Exam/IT and Rishabh Software as Manager – L&OD and T&D for Rishabh Integrated Skill Enhancement (RISE) Center. Since 1985, he is the Director of CSC Knowledge Systems, which he has set up at Baroda.

Prof. Dr. Akshai K. Aggarwal started his career at the Faculty of Technology and Engineering, The Maharaja Sayajirao University of Baroda. From 1984-89, he was the Professor and Head of the Department of Electrical and Electronics Engineering, which included Computer Science and Engineering and Computer Applications. From 1987-89, he worked as Dean of Students. He was the Chairman of the Computer Society of India, Vadodara Chapter from 1988-90. Dr. Akshai Aggarwal worked as the Professor and Head, Department of Computer Science, Rollwala Computer Centre, Gujarat University from 1989-99. He was the Chairman of the IEEE Gujarat Section and its Computer Society Chapter from 1990-98. For two years, he was the Chairman of the IEEE India Council having 10 sections and 275 student branches. He is the Fellow of IETE. He is the Ex Vice Chancellor of the Gujarat Technological University. Currently, settled in Canada, Dr. Akshai Aggarwal is Professor Emeritus at the University of Windsor, Canada. At the University of Windsor, Dr. Aggarwal is recognized as a passionate teacher and researcher in his field. He has earned numerous awards for teaching and performance from the Faculty of Science at Windsor. He has authored/edited 9 books and has 142 learned papers in various journals and conferences to his credit. He is the co-author of the books "Business Intelligence", "Competitive Intelligence" and "Business Analytics" published by Himalaya Publishing House.
